The Buick Envista is looking pretty affordable with the $23,495 as a starting price. The reason why is because it gives off enough room at an economical size of 106.3-inch wheelbase and a length of 182.6 inches. Not to mention that the Envista packs enough room in 4.1 inches then through wheel centers and casts an 11.2-inch-longer overcast over the Encore GX $3400.
Of course, the Envista might not be as spacious, but it still has interesting dimensions at about 20.7 cubic feet with all seats, in place. 42.0 cubes will be set with the 40/60 split of the rear seatbacks folded over. The Envista cargo space is less than the Encore GX however by a mere minimum of 2.8 and 8.2 cubic feet.
The energy for the car comes thanks to the turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine attached to a six-speed automatic transmission as it pushed the engine beyond 136 horsepower and even 162 pound-feet of torque for the Envista’s very own front wheels.
When it comes to speed, the Envista is able to nearly match the Encore’s with a similar rate of speed between 9 and 12 seconds to go from zero to 60 miles per hour. Buick is looking forward to the Envista as it provides three different trims, as it shows off Preferred, Sport Touring and even the Avenir trims.
Buick Can Take You Quick To The Future.
Each of the levels come in with different results. The Entry-Level Preferred, the mid-level Sport Touring and the Top-Line Avenir. Avenir will sticker up at $29695 with the possibility of 19-inch wheels while also using a rear suspension much better than the torsion beam that has been previously used on other Envistas. The Sport Touring has $25,195 as the pricetag while also possessing an upgraded rear-end similar to Avenir. Additionally, the 18-inch wheels will be standard over the Sport Touring as 17-inch wheels are included with the Preferred.
All Envistas come with 8.0-inch digital instrument clusters as the car comes equipped with automatic high-beam headlights, an 11.0-inch infotainment screen and even automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist with lane-departure warning. As far as anyone can tell, the way Buick is going about it is slow and steady but to a unique tune that no other car company can claim. The Envista will definitely be the crown jewel Buick has long been hoping to have to compete with the other automakers in the American market. Who will win? No one knows, but it may be smooth-sailing for the Envista.
