WEST PHILADELPHIA – A thirteen-year-old boy went missing from West Philadelphia on Tuesday. Now, police ask for the help of the public in locating the boy’s whereabouts.
Those who saw him the boy, named Javier Bey, last, saw him on the 4900 block of Westminster Avenue.
Police released the description of the missing child, as well as his picture, to the public. Apparently, he is about five feet and three inches, weight one hundred pounds. Additionally, he has a thin build, brown eyes, black hair, along with medium complexion.
When Bey was last seen, he wore dark blue pants, along with a black hooded sweatshirt. In addition, he wore grey sneakers. If anyone has any information about the boy’s whereabouts, police ask them to come forward. Authorities hope for the quick, and safe, discovery of Bey. Bey joins a list of many children that have gone missing throughout the area. There are several active Amber Alerts in Pennsylvania. Some of these are listed on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
It is unclear what may have happened to Bey when he went missing on Tuesday, but time is of the essence. Please alert authorities with any information or suspicious activity you notice, for any children that might be involved.
