West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania—A Philadelphia mother of two working as a bartender was killed by a man. The man shot her and then turned the gun on himself, according to police.
The incident happened at the location 60th and Spruce streets, at around 10:15 p.m., Wednesday.
A 52-year-old man entered in the Studio 7 Lounge and fired multiple shots.
The police officers have seen the suspect running from the bar and heard the gunshots. The suspect ran to the direction east on Spruce.
The identity of the suspect is already revealed. The man is identified as Gwen Anderson. Anderson is 29-year-old.
When the police arrived at the bar, they found a woman wounded in her head by the gunshot.
The wounded woman was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The running suspect who is believed to be 52 –year-old fired shots in his head after he ran down the streets at nearby houses.
He is considered to be in critical condition. The police are still investigating the incident.
According to Philadelphia police Lt.Jonny Walker, the bartender woman and the man know each other.
A handgun was found under the man’s body by the police.
